MetaQuest service to cease Nov.30, export your saved data now

The MetaQuest service will cease on November 30, 2010. MetaQuest has been replaced by the new discovery service, Library One Search. If you have saved journal articles or searches to the "My Space" area in MetaQuest, you will need to export them from MetaQuest and save them to your own computer before November 30.

e-Shelf Journal Articles
If you have saved favourite journal articles to your e-Shelf, and you wish to retain them, you will need to save them to your own computer. One option would be to export the citations to EndNote:

1. Login to MetaQuest and click on My Space.
2. For each of your folders in the e-Shelf, select all of the records, then click on the "Selected" link.
3. Click on the Save button.
4. Select the EndNote record format from the list, and follow the prompts to save.

Saved Searches and Alerts
Saved searches and email alerts in MetaQuest will not be retained after November 30 2010. You can set up saved searches in Library One Search, which uses RSS feeds to deliver alerts.

My Databases
It will no longer be possible to save your own list of databases. Library One Search indexes content from multiple databases. For a direct way of accessing a database, click on the A-Z Databases link from the Library home page.
