Upgrade to library catalogue services 14/10/09

There will be an upgrade to the library server overnight Wednesday / Thursday 14 - 15 October 2009. This means that all library catalogue services and databases will be unavailable from 10pm Wednesday until 8am Thursday. This also includes on-campus access.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I am studying online and your upgrades are affecting my studies. I am even regretting my i chose to study with ECU. I should have known. I am very, very disappointed. I think something is very wrong with the socalled IQ department. Somebody is not doing his/her work. What a disgrace

We are sorry for the inconveneince caused to you by this problem. It was due to a supplier, but we realise that this does not minimise the inconvenience.
The good news is that the system is now working again, with the exception of the 'ADS' authentication within the catalogue. If you are authenticating to e.g. view your patron record or place a request, you need to use your name and student / staff number on the right hand side of the screen.
Of course, we are working to resolve this remaining problem.
