Outstanding Library Survey Results
The results from the 2008 library survey conducted toward the end of last year showed significant improvement when compared with the 2006 survey.
>>Overall, the ECU Library is now performing in the top 25% for student satisfaction of all Australian academic libraries surveyed in the last 2 years.
>>Improvement was shown in all of the six Best Practice categories including Communication, Service Quality, Service Delivery, Facilities and Equipment, Library Staff and Virtual Library.
Nevertheless, we intend to build on these outstanding results to deliver an even better library service by:
>Continuing to provide top quality customer service by examining processes and training staff
>Providing alternative ways that students can communicate with the library using new technologies
>Providing alternative ways of delivering services using new web 2.0 technologies
>Improving our electronic and print collections
>Expanding opening hours
