What do you think about ebooks?

ECU library has recently been expanding its collection of eBooks (electronic books - books available online). This strategy supports an already extensive online journal collection and is part of an ongoing initiative to assist with the students need for flexible access to library resources. Some eBooks are bought as individual titles and others are selected as part of a package. Some are purchased in addition to print copies. Through the current trial with EBL, access to eBooks is available on a pay by use option, where the book is purchased after a number of usages.

If you haven't used one, then try a search in the library catalogue. Use the keyword option and type in a keyword ebook, for example health ebook.

We would love to know what you think about ebooks. Good or bad, please leave your comment or ask a question if you prefer. We will respond to the Blog.

I think that ebooks are great as you can get access to them at home. They sometimes difficult to get the content though.
