Google Scholar links to full text held at ECU

It is automatic if on campus. Off campus users need to change your Google preferences to Edith Cowan University Library to set up a library link in Google Scholar which lets ECU staff and students link directly to full-text journal articles and books held at ECU.

Follow these steps to set up Library Links in Google Scholar on your own computer:

Click on Scholar Preferences

Type Edith Cowan University Library in the Library Links text box

Check the box next to Edith Cowan University Library - Find It@ECU

Click Save Preferences

Next time you search Google Scholar, you will see a SFX Find It@ECU link below the results. This will take you directly to ECU Library's SFX link to resources.

This does not appear to be working off-campus. The "Edith Cowan University" box is greyed out, unable to be selected!

Unfortunately, on Friday 13th March the vendor who supplies us with SFX Find It had a problem with their servers - they lost our Google Scholar registration. The vendor has now fixed the server problem, but it may take up to 10 days for the Google Scholar crawlers to pick up the fix. This means it should be fixed very soon. Apologies for the inconvenience caused to users.
